Concept dovetails on Duchamp's post-readymade observation that in the future the artist will point at something and say, "that is a work of art." Exhibitions can consist of static "works" found on site in any part of the world to be experienced by the spectator as surrogate for the curator who selects the works and thematically frames them and fleshes out curatorial concept with attendant narrative. In other words, one could step out of one's residence and describe objects and locate them such as a newspaper bin on the corner, store down the street, and building adjacent to the store, and claim these obejcts as an exhibition. Exhibitions can any take form, for in the future the curator will point and say, "that group of things over is an art exhibition."
